A: Yes, post audio for short long form feature films are how we got into this business! Offering full services from ADR to foley to surround mixing to dialogue repair and editing checks off all of the boxes. However a film is more than the sum of its parts, and that’s where our history and experience comes into play. Focusing on clarity of narrative and how sound design can best elevate a film to the next level (or two) is the most important element. Post audio can become too much of a mechanical or technical process, leaving story, cinematic impact and clarity as a byproduct. For both narrative and documentary films, we equally wear both hats of a sound engineer and filmmaker.
