A: Yes! This is actually a 2-part question, both with the same answer. To be more specific, stylized sound design (which is often called for in non-animated films as well) is something we excel at. In addition to a fully animated piece, it is very common for animation to appear within live-action projects (ads, series, documentaries) to enhance, highlight or explain something. This type of sound work usually ends involves a fun merging of sound design for narrative and UI (user interface) in order to add life and clarity to animations and moving diagrams. Two good examples of this are: TED Back to Work series. And the Charlotte’s Web CBD series, both of which combine live action and artistic animations to help illustrate the topic. Sound design here adds clarity, humor, emphasizes motion and movement, adds structure, or emphasizes a point.
